Most guests visit at least one of the four. The atmosphere is part of the experience: shopping in ski clothes, the mountain outside, the knowledge that you are in one of the most expensive postcodes in France.

This is the part that most guests never access, because they do not know to ask for it.

Several of the luxury boutiques in Courchevel - Hermes and Dior among them - can arrange private shopping sessions with a tea service. A dedicated member of staff, a selection of pieces brought out specifically for you, a table with a small spread, and no other customers in the room. It is a completely different experience from walking into the shop during après-ski.

The catch: it needs to be arranged in advance, through someone who has the right contact. A concierge who knows the boutique managers directly. It is not something you can request at the door on the day.
